agentho is a macOS app that is in prototype phase at the moment.
I started working on it based on a workflow that I had to optimise my CV for a specific job description – this workflow is hardcoded.
Then, I realised I could have more flexibility if I were able to create any workflow and save it/reload it at any time.
It was ok until the point when I started playing with the integration of MCPs on a sandboxed app because I wanted to distribute it in the Apple Store.
It turns out that implementing MCPs on a sandboxed application has become challenging due to the limitations on launching processes. The workaround was ok but far from ideal.
PIVOT TIME: I abandoned the MCP integration in the sandboxed app and rolled back some changes.
Current status
- Rolling back the sandboxed MCP
- Improving the UI flexibility
Next
- Simplify the configuration
- Distribute it for free on Gumroad
- Work on the non-sandboxed MCP – should be easy 🙂
